In practice I was given the cloud of points of a road stretch, what I should do is to be able to reconstruct the high and planimetric trend of the existing road and also get some sections in some sections. I tried to operate in two ways, in the first following the cloud with snap 3d, I built through polylinee 3d the eyelashes of the road and from these I generated a surface with definition curves of level and I selected, in fact the two polylines, however, octego unreal transverse pendences. the other method was to isolate the part of the road from the cloud of points and generate from here the surface, but in this case nothing, besides I did it on a small portion, do it for all I do not see it possible. In both cases, because I probably can't get the cloud points right. I also thought of creating a modeler that left one of the eyelashes and connects to the other with the altimetric and wide lens. Obviously the main goal is to be able to pull out sections. In practice I believe that the main problem is precisely to be able to reconstruct the best possible eyelashes. you could recommend some solutions with civil 3d or with any application, possibly free, to be able to leave,
