Hello everyone,

I have to do something very simple, but I don't remember how.... Maybe the neurons are leaving me,
How do you create a cone with a base not regular?

Thank you so much!! !

I do it with a set of pachs in the surface module, I have through cutting floors with a solid.

Hi.

I managed to make a cone with a multi-section, but it degenerates a little near the tip;
Besides, it is not immediate, it takes a series of features, instead proe does all this with an operation,

Bye.
make a prism and then break it to the vertical walls of course knowing the corner.
greetings

Hi.
I would like to create something like the attached image;
being irregular, I can't define a constant angle of deformity, and the projection of the cone tip is not inside the base.

Thank you very much.

I used a loft with section (only) starting 'irregular' trying to make it look like yours.
I added 2 guide curves (two lines) to govern the passage from section to final point. you can add as many guides as you want

of course, the more you go to the tip the surface degrades (loss the internal tangences). to ovviare you should add intermediate sections of control and more curved guide.

ok work with the shape.
not knowing your precision of work, it could be a solution to use as a cone tip a very small circle (0.1 mm in diameter) and use multisection command (part design) by selecting in the "vertical" coupling type? depending on the complexity of the starting section the cone could degenerate.
What are you talking about?
greetings

Hi.
I also used a loft between two curves, climbed between them, and two guides;
the result is quite good, there is only a degeneration in the point area, nothing of which; for my use it is fine, I only have to make cones of visibility for a mannequin.
Instead, it seems more difficult to manage the rim solution from 0.1mm, due to the complex shapes to manage, and therefore of the relative connection points between the circle and the base curve.
It seemed strange to me that it did not allow it to create such a cone with simplicity, since it does well, in one command only (they tell me that v4 had such a function).
v5 has the reflex line command of conical type, so I imagined that in the same way could generate the cone with simplicity

Thank you very much

Hi.
Hello Dalm...

I think you want something like that. .

I would say you don't need guides but only sections and closing points that coincide with each other and the game is made

I'll train you

greetings
