I am using version n°16 of solid edge, and I find myself having to create the mold of a solid 3d that I have already developed in part environment.
reading the online guide I understand that you have to use the command "Boolean faith" but honestly, perhaps for my inability.. I can't apply the command in a practical way. Can someone help me like that?

thanks in advance to those who can give me some tips

Hi.
with solid edge or solid works?

In principle you have to create a part that represents the matrix and copy it into your part. Then with the Boolean operation, remove it from the matrix.

Hi.

with solid edge, solidworks no longer use it causes change of work! ...the theory is clear to me but in practice I can't!

- create a new part.
- creates a protrusion of a parallelepipedo
- use insert - copy part and insert the molded part to print.
- use the Boolean feature command with subtraction.

for each single command you can refer to the online guide on its use.
You don't want an answer where I explain every single click!

if you encounter problems then ask some more specific question.

Hi.

Thanks a lot of guys, I found out after I first had to create the solid and then import the part to subtract! ...it is not so clear the guide online.... coming then from solidwork, I feel definitely dismissed!!!! Thanks anyway;-)

That's what I told you to do.
