Good morning to all,

I wanted to know if with distributed batch it is possible to perform a regeneration of the drw files before the export of the boards in dxf and pdf format.

in detail, this need arises from the fact that, working with models configured with layout, export without a previous regeneration can cause the export of components with totally incorrect dimensions.

having to do with assemblies consisting mainly of sheet metal components, our drw boards need two pages to export.

I made several attempts using the function that allows to perform a macro on the individual files, but it seems not to work with regeneration (the tested macros were all obtained with registration and not written manually).

Thank you.

I would have tried with the macro myself, I have no idea why the regeneration does not work.
Did you register it from menu examine and not pressing ctrl+g?
other thing: did you look if you can act as a config, e.g. with some parameters like auto regen, etc.?

I tried with various macros including pressing the command from the menu and with ctrl+g but it seems not to work in any way.
auto regen I had not tried yet, I did a test now but it seems not to work even so but maybe I am wrong something because it is an ompostation that I never modified.
It seems strange that it is not possible to solve the problem easily considering that it could be common to many.
Thanks for the answer.

before arriving at distributed batch are you sure that the macro "double regeneration" already works with the creo interface?

sisi the first macro I used in the tests was the one I use daily for the boards for a long time. regenerate sheet 1, activate sheet 2, regenerate sheet 2, then return to sheet 1.
but between the various tests I also tried a macro that regenerated only the first sheet or only the prt but it just does not work

check the trail of creo if the mapkey is launched (have you configured it well in the mapkey.ttd? ).
from me I see it in the trail between the various models loading operations, etc.:
..."! Playing mapkey.......

also you can look in the log of dbatch operations (e.g. mapkey_ttd.log.5) if there is any error
