I have a wall package that consists of several walls:
- existing wall
- intercapedine
- project counterpath
- wall tiles (furniture)
for constructive reasons I can't make a wall with that stratigraphy.

At this point I have to insert a door that simultaneously crosses the whole package.
How can you do that?

1-join the geometry of the various walls.
2-open the door family and expand the subtraction solid that pierces the wall of the size you need.

You could also increase the thickness of the wall of the family so that you simulate the sum of the thickness of your walls so check that it's okay.

ps:the problem was faced for the coats try to do a research.

Thank you, I didn't think to join the geometries.
the suggestion works perfectly

Although graphically the process is correct there are some contraindications to work this way.

1. the walls become at least two, so the plots are not manageable
2. elements must be hidden in some views to avoid overlap

I propose that you use the work phases for this project.
the existing wall put it in fact state stage and then continue and the new wall (even if you change only some components) insert it as a design state, in this way you can compute by phase, automatically display red yellows and so on.

I hope I understand the problem.
very often revit is used as a modeler, believe me if I tell you that its real power is the database that manages below!
