customization

Hello everyone,
satvo evaluating the purchase of a 64-bit machine on the occasion of rel. 2011.
In the last 5 years I have developed several customizations both as macro, and as .exe with visual basic 6 , and my paurra is that they no longer work on a 64-bit machine.
I think macros shouldn't have problems but I don't know if executables will work.
If any of you have already had experiences about it, let me know.

I used old macros on 64-bit machines and had no problem. in the case of applications I don't know different. They should work, possibly 32 bits, but until you do tests you can't be sure.
In my opinion you should lend a 64-bit machine to test. Alternatively you can take the retail operating system so you have both 32 and 64 dvd and you can return to 32 bit.

I believe that there is no alternative, you have to leave the old road for the new one, the 64 bit has now taken on foot and how much you feel the performance is quite different.
