Good morning to all I have a problem about cutting a flange of the edge of a sheet. in the "capture1" screen I made a cut with the "extruded cut" function but I create a small fold that in the bending phase would be unrealizable. I was trying to figure out if there is a possibility, after having already made the flange of making a cut as I did in the "capture2" screen. this because in the capture two I had to eliminate the flange and cuts and realize again 2 different flanges and I do not think it is a very fast method.
thanks in advance

do 2 flanges is the correct method because so the program manages the fold discharges according to the defined settings
However if you want to use the cut you have to set normal cut in the options

to model it with your method you should remove more to get to the flat area and then, with another function, of basic tongue/flangia add the portion you need to get to the desired quota. the sketch of this portion of the sheet must be already discharged in the areas close to the side fold.

In reality what do you do, do a fold and cut or do two folds?
Thank you very much for the answer. certainly as you say in reality is what you do, but I was comfortable in designing use the cutting function because often I happen to have to add and remove cuts. Unfortunately with the correct method I should change the existing flange and create a new one every time I want to add a cut.

Thank you very much for the idea but I had already thought about it. I discarded it because having to draw every time a further basic flange and realize the gaps in the sketch because they do not come automatically does not seem like a very fast method.
