Good day to all.
I am new in this forum. I am looking for answers related to archicad that I use for months for a course in design university 3d parametric cad.
My problems are:
1. I have to make cuts in a pillar; I use operations with solid elements, creating a "hidden" layer where I go to insert the elements that cut my pillar. Once I turn the operation I turn off the layer but it doesn't create any "holes". I noticed that this operation works well horizontally on walls and floors but not on pillars. I also checked the materials thinking it was due to a connection but it is not.it creates this cut only if I turn the pillar into a form but in the 3d rendering does not create the desired effectxxx.webp2. I have inserts of recessed spotlights downloaded (after hours of research) . always doing the operation with solid elements with "lower extrusion" with the ceiling and ferrets , cut me only 1 max 2 parts of the loft and not all parts of the selected makers.

3. I created objects with beams and pillars and floors; I did not look at the lines thinking they could change later (I mean by color ). I can't change the color anymore.

forgive me all for the terminology not very adequate. Can some "good soul" help me?

thanks in advance
