hi I have a pdf that was created with vectorworks. I have analyzed the file and it has undoubtedly been realized with vectorworks, in fact it builds me the flat slime with all the lines and in the magnifications is very precise.
Now if I go to break as an image from pdf... I don't tell you how much quality I lose.... Therefore I would like to take it back in vectorworks, or resume the image in the best possible way, but importing the pdf file ... in reality you do not recognize it as image etc... how to do?

you have a vector pdf.
with what do you open it to view it? It is clear that if you import it into photoshop, for example, rasterizzi, then lose the vectors and turn them into simple pixels, losing its scalability feature.
if you import it into vectorworks, by using the "import pdf" command you will continue to have vector data that vw recognizes as such, and you can then use it as a basis for your designs.

if you import it in illustrator you enter it not as a link but expand it in the document and export it as dwg, you have the true vector file to use in vw or where it suits you

if the pdf is vector vw recognizes it as such.
I'll show you a trick too. without making many steps from pdf-illustator-dwg: import the pdf in vw with the command "import pdf" and then collect it, exactly as if it were a group.
You should find yourself with a bitmap and a frame polygon to be removed and the vector design that is what you need.
but you can also keep pdf as such if you only need it as a base. You will see that the snaps recognize and attach to the top of the polygons.
