for whom among you has to pass from proe wf to catia v5, what are the substantial differences between the two sw inherent the modeling parts and what the initial problems you encounter?
personally I have been working for years both with solidworks and with proes, but strangely the departure with catia v5 turns out less fluid and more articulated ..., starting from the management of the mouse. Surely it is as always to take hand and hand out, but ...

I also went from sw to proe to catia.... I will say a few words. I found the paradise!!!:biggrin:
I know, at first it is hard to get used to the mouse.
but at least you can "design" with the dx and eat with the sx:biggrin:

mauri, all 3d modelers are substantially equal, the only thing that varies and the graphics and possibly the "modus oprandi" of the same.
After that, my advice, is to have clearly what you want to model and the various phases of modeling (successo features), then look for the "keys" to realize it.
