I know it's probably already been discussed,
I need to convert a toolbox to a standard part on solidworks 2013.
I follow the solidworks guide and go to data utilities in the toolbox folder, start the conversion program but when I click on updated status tells me that it is impossible to update it. Why?

Yes exactly it was open on a set

You can do the same thing
- saving a copy of the component from toolbox (---> "independent sales")
- adding a custom property to the new saved file "istoolboxpart" ---> value "0".

Reboot the assembly to the component will no longer refer to the toolbox.
Some configurations will remain associated (if for example is a 4017 iso screw, you will find configurations that match some size).
but the file will be completely independent.
