I realized I had about 2 gb occupied in the folder:

c:\documents and settings\user\documenti\solidworks downloads\solidworks 2009 sp05.1

Can I cancel? eventually after zipping and copying it to the server disk?

you can cancel it as you will no longer have to update 2009, development has been stopped.
that folder is created when you upgrade automatically with the install manager, and is searched for later upgrades.
I prefer to update the update packages manually, I run them and in this way I get rid of any file maintenance problem.

never had of these problems, always saved the folder on server where I wanted to permanently until later release.
however is the update folder sw2009sp5.1
if you don't need to move it or delete it if you don't want more sw 2009 to reinstall
