demolition windows in local walls

Good morning to all,
I am new to the forum and not being an experienced user of revit I have been finding myself for days to fail to solve a problem on revit lt i.e. when I create (in the existing phase) a wall in the local way through extrusion and I insert inside a window/door and I want to demolish the latter in the project phase I remain the void of the same inside the wall (always in the project phase).
I know that maybe it's a banality but I just can't understand the cause and how to solve it.

Right. especially in the renovations, when you have walls that change thickness and you have to shape them is a nice problem. I arranged to change the 2d, but it's not a solution.

I'm also trying this system, but it's a problem when a new project window happens in the "tap"

the problem should be planned from the beginning, evaluating the type of wall according to the needs (in your case the windows).
For example, if the variation of the thickness of the walls, is only in section (vertical) you could utilize the family system walls, with addition of extrusions or grooves to change the profile. in such mode, the windows have no problem.

another solution can be identified with the use of the architectural pillars (on the blog of tristan there is an example), which should be previously perforated (empty) for the insertion of the windows. removing window and empty, the wall returns "full". to add another window you have to make a new blank + other window

place modeling, which you used, has the issues you expose.
a possible solution is to model the "tape", so that there is a "empty" for the new window.
