design of a solenoid

Hello everyone

as I have to draw a oil seal that I can't find in any network library, I need to draw a solenoid that has as its director a circumference.
I already have familiarity with this type of geometries, (for example I designed a spinner of a centrifugal pump), but in this case, as the profile must be closed, I would like to know if qlc could give me a hand in order to share this skill.

with free geom command - add material - helical I can only do this propeller with straight axis.
I wish he had the circumference as a board.

in the past I faced this problem by composing the whole piece of micro parts, very arranged and not precise solution.

I tried with the solenoid generated by the attached page and with the command: rotting and working.

We're almost... How do I stick excell sheet data into modeling?
there should be a command that inherits excell data.

after creating your solenoid with excel sheet you must copy the coordinates of the sheet within the helix.rec file in the zipped file.
attention to the commas and points.
attention in the last rows of the helix.rec file find (aus excel) even those coordinates are to be taken from the excel sheet. and that comment you must remove it (aus excel) because it has not been correctly inserted missing; it is not a command.
once you create your .rec file, drag it into modeling and add the thickness to the spline created.
if I have not been clear send me to this site the data of the solenoid so I create the .rec file.
