development with trace lines

Hello everyone, I have this small question in the sheet form.

I need to perform tracking lines (laser-made) for welding parts positioning on parts developed in dxf and saved.

is it possible if you like?

I tried to squirt on the surface and pull these lines to measure but don't export them where I'm wrong?

Hi.

you must realize a sketch of the shape and size of your "signs" for positioning.
at this point from the 3d model menu select the division command and the first option (face division)
select the sketch and then the face to "humble"

the part remains however a "lamiera" object but the sign is exported to the dxf

the problem is upstream
the solid you have attached is not developable since, there are no fittings and faces of the folds are not separated

correct solid allego
change the part from solid 3d to sheet; set the sheet rule to 2mm
create splits in 2mm angles; eliminate unnecessary intersections
Connect (with solid connection) internal edges (2mm) and outer edges (4mm)
create sheet metal development
create the sketch for the welding "signs" and then create the division

ps: it is possible to export in a file all components (cut list) with its material development thickness etc...

you expect a hard and long job to convert it into "developable" sheet
for the nerves, there is nothing to do, they are to divide and then turn into sheet metal
