differences between vof explicit and implicit

hi to all, I would like to know if in fluent there are settings to get very similar results using the vof explicit or implicit approach. I look for the profile of the interface (water-air) in an ondous motion, only that using the implicit wave turns out to be damped compared to that obtained with the explicit. I observed a less dampening by decreasing the time step and adopting a space discretization of the second order upwind....only that I would like to be totally equal because the implicit method seems to me + stable of the explicit (there are no problems related to the courant number). What do you recommend? Can it be useful to act on sub-relaxing factors?
