hi to all I have changed work for about a year and currently in the company where I work we do not have a management that in a simple and fast way communicates with the rest of the departments and consequently with solidworks. Until today I have stopped this small problem by inserting a distinct production excel that now uses the whole company, of course it is created by the project thanks to the export of the bom from the assembly design but I want to ask you if you know another method faster and safer also to avoid having doubles.

use solid bom and install edrawing, which is a free viewer, on various pcs. I do not see any other ways if you want to have the security of always having the latest version of the distinct.

edrawing we installed it to the climbers to have an extra detail besides the drawings but it is not feasible for the rest. the distinct is used and updated with other info. from all according to the needs.
