"disassemble" to multibody part

Hello, everyone! I ask advice for the following problem:

open with sw a step file containing more solid objects. I find myself with a multibody part file with indicated in the tree the different imported solid bodies.
Is there any way to "export" one of these imported solid bodies into a side file, without any connection to the starting multibody file?

(in practice: I would like to get a file like what I would get by opening a step file containing only one solid body)

You could save a copy of the part, select all other bodies and delete them.

a latra is to extract the bodies and then block external references, but the first is cleaner.

hi paolino, I don't understand if you want to move from multibody to a series of untied parts: to do so just click on each body in the feauture manager and do "save body".

If you want to export a unique monobody part, you have to use the merge commands and you will get a unique solid.
