I have to graduate in building engineering in 15 days, speaking with the rapporteur (I have made design with cad, sketchup, archicad and kerkhythea) would like me to discuss my tesina, beyond the presentation of the project, focused more on the importance of these programs, and therefore no longer the use of free hand drawings, for a better approach with the client, with the common, with the administration in such a way that the project is realized more.
Here in summary the speech and this, who knows how to formulate a sort of speech, or give me highlights in this? I have to talk at least 15 minutes about this speech and after two minutes I don't know what to say!

Anyway, here's some point:
free hand drawing software vs:
- absolute precision in representation and calculations (perimeters, areas, etc...)
- certainty of not soiling, tearing, heliocopying, washing and moistening the tables
- possibility of retiring and coloring in a short time and with precision
- quick and clean changes
- possibility of making 3d models and renderings
- possibility to perform structural calculations on models (with specific software)
- possibility to quickly identify design errors (especially with 3d)
- unlimited design area and possibility to display in different tables the same portions with different scales and custom graphics
- possibility of working remotely (file and sheet group sharing)

starts by specifcando the differences between the design made by using software and the hand drawing llybera... then make references or examples of the relationship between designer/committee/common etc.

ps: make a speech that covers the 15 minutes, then even if you talk only for 10 it doesn't make a difference... :smile:

I can't help but notice the absurdity of your rapporteur's request in 1012.
to explain that it is more versatile the use of a cad instead of the tecnigraph seems to me as anachronistic as useless; the time of the special effects with the...
then ask you to focus on this the discussion of your thesis, flying over the design and technical aspects is simply tragic.

2. Since when do the projects "free hand"? ever heard of teammates, compass and tecnigraph? by free hand they paint the paintings and they do preliminary sketches, to what I find
