Hello, everyone.
I have a problem with displaying furniture.
How do you determine which object is above the other in plain sight?

I'll explain.
I have inserted a table and chairs, but while in section and in 3d the chairs are under the table, in the plant they cover me the table, as if they were above it.

I tried to change the masks, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Help me?

Thank you.
Daniele

hi, sincerely I tried with two components of table and chairs and it doesn't happen what you say. try to change object.

Sorry, roberto.
but I tried with different tables and chairs and the problem is always the same.

Can you tell me if I can change some settings?
Hello and thank you

Hey, you're not getting wireframe views.
otherwise he sends the families and we see.
Hi.

the view is hidden.. .

families are the default revit 2009. I'm not using anything from the outside.

Bah. .

then, the tables are: office desk and rectangular table, chairs are wood chair (1), simple chair and work chair (2).

At this point I think there is a problem with my program, because it still gives me the same mistake with any other object.

Thanks anyway, I hope you can fix it. . .

I saw the wood chair (there is a French copy that works well). then the chair in question must be a bit modified also to choose the material. with regard to the display in the plant, if you open the family you notice (planned view) that on the seat there is a masking and lines of symbols. These lines are specific to the view and are displayed only in the parallel views where they were created. for this reason you did not see them in section but only in plant. you can associate these lines with a visibility depending on the detail or if you want to delete them (in addition to the masking) and you will see that the display will be correct.
