I also recommend you create templates, if you want to change existing ones to find them, you need to check in the settings(see attachment). or once you have all the perfect settings for you, save as>part templates.prtdot the same for drawings and assemblies.
Yes thank you I do so every time I stay since the assistance told me that it is good to use the updated templates to the new version and not update the old ones.
