I imported a set from .step format
the problem is that when I open the parts of the above together the visual type cartoon, without colors and aspects:I can't understand if there's any settling to check or it's a solidworks error, as I assist you see it normally.

definitely the default template you use is set with that type of display

just do a new part with the template you use, set the view as you prefer and save the file as part template (.prtdot) replacing the original one

to the next conversion you should have set them as you want

I tried, but unfortunately it doesn't work, I can only visualize it in "shaded" style.
However the same goes well, on the new parts everything works well, with the same side template.

set the display mode as you best believe

then erase the solid, the sketch and everything....practicing clean it up

and then go up the template
