indicates (in your profile) that swx verses use because for example from mi (2013) to your (98?, 2010?, 2016?) something could have been changed.

in swx the term "hands" refers to the elements (rombo, point, arrow) that allow you to adjust the weight and angle of the control arrows of the various spline points then when you click on a spoline point you will see the two arrows to edit.
If you don't place a screen there's no chance to figure out what you're looking for and what you don't see.
