Good morning,
as a result of business needs, problems have arisen that you have already encountered and also solved.
I will try to be clear and synthetic.
  1. problem : from a 3d file (which is part or together) with x configurations, we have only one table that represents it, consisting of x sheets, one by configuration. at pdm level, can you have the tab showing the various information ranging from configuration to configuration? if possible, at the moment I can't do it (in the example below, I take the weight as a variable)
Cattura.webp2.problem: we have the usual 3d files (part or together) with n configurations. for each configuration, we have a slddrw file that represents only one configuration. from the file leaves (or together), I do right to call the table. can you connect all the slddrw files of the various configurations, to the generating part file?
Cattura.webpPlease stick to the questions, do not divert the utility or not of the configuration system, alternatives etc., I am not the one who decides how to manage the office and I have already had my contrasts. I'm just the user who finds this problem.
I am therefore interested to know if you have had the same problems, if you have solved them and how.

Thank you very much.

Thank you.

I didn't confirm why I didn't try.
prob 1: To have the data of the parts or assemblies in the drawing card you have to change the origin of the data in the card. I recommend you create a card dedicated to the drawings, where you impose the origin of the data from the parts/assies. to control configurations etc. you have to distinguish the drawings from the parts.

prob 2: to me always opens and only the drawing from the first part with which I created the design if you want to make a unique design connected to all parts a consilge is to create a set, I attach a linkI hope I was adhering?

As for point 1, the card in the image is already dedicated to drawings.
the problem is that variables, such as weight, do not change to changing the sheet tab.

a perfect then if in the sheet you have the link to the weight property, and change on the sheet as you change the configuration, then you have to create the variable in the pdm adminastrator and insert it into the card1631794130927.webpto explain it is more difficult than to.. .

Yes, I know, I did, but it doesn't change in the table date card.
this because the table does not have configurations like a file part.

I don't have an answer to give you because I don't have pdm and I can't help you.

in point 2, I know for certain that solidworks is not able to tell you which tables are related to your model, it only manages to open a table file that has the same name, but it is not said that inside the views point to the model. so I would say that with the sw instruments it is not possible to do it.
an alternative via macro could be filtering the tables that contain in the file name the same name of your model, then for each of these you have to question the contained views and see which configuration of the model belong to. Once you find your table, open it.
Obviously the macro should not physically open the table, you could use the methods contained in "solidworks document manager" (check the bee manual). This however requires a license for use to request solidworks from your portal, and it is free, but each version needs an updated one, otherwise as it happens for files, it is not possible to read new version files.
in a few words you would build a custom table button

I solved with point 2, the custom table opening button.
with a click I open the table (which will certainly have a different name than the generated part/axis file) of the active configuration of the part/axis displayed at video.
