yes should be the depth of the threaded tract.

It should not....it is certainly the symbol that has become international that indicates depth.
solidworks has used it native for many years. others have adapted.

work in uk and here we use quotation the thread and its depth(blue) then quoti the foreskin(red).
The standard is bs8888 if I remember well.

I never tried, but once I thought of drawing with the sheet vertically but with the horizontal layout.. I don't know if I explained. ..practically create a vertical a4 sheet. but having both situations in a table I don't think it's possible.

Well big runaway I would say

if it is not possible/turned to quota the hole in saw section, it is seen in the plant and inserting elements from the model/function you check the punctuation caption box, so doing exits that symbol both for the depth of the foreskin and the thread.
is convenient to avoid adding views to the sole purpose of quotating the threaded or laminated hole.
