doubts on toptron

Thank you for your kind attention.
The only cad that I used in my life is toptron and.
In recent times I get 3d modeling requests of various details that must be assembled, simulated movements and then make the rendering as realistic as possible.
What I ask is:
Toptron is quite valid or there are much more valid cads to do all this?

realizes the projects (including renderings of a Hollywood quality, really embarrassing..) ,table etc with solidworks.. .

Among other things, he's been a top user for several years, but to design it, there's no comparison.

It's not my opinion (I know little solidworks) but that of a reliable and very good friend.
