draw a line with remarkable thickness

good evening to all, I would need your help...I would have to draw a polyline of considerable thickness (let's say that on the printing sheet should be thick 1 or even 2 cm) but I don't know how to draw it because the maximum I can find in the command from layer is 2.11 mm....a pencil makes me remember that I could draw a dotted of the thickness of about 2 cm but I forgot the used command. Could you help me? Thank you.

if it is a polylinea you can set the thickness through the properties by changing the variable Global spacer
