hello to all, I press that I just started using patran and are not very practical of fem analysis. I must simulate the onboard behaviour (section b) of the particular in the figure subjected to a torque and flender moment .
the particular is blocked in all directions on section a and such moments instead apply to section c.the model has already been meshato with solid elements tet10. I tried to simulate the torque/fleating moment in different ways but when I do the analysis I get as a result of shifts, tensions etc. 0 (as if the loads I go to apply do not apply them to the nodes of the elements but to an external geometry to the mesh). I'm obviously mistaken or unaware of something at the conceptual level.
How can I apply a torque/flective linear distribution on the face and how do you work in such cases?
thanks in advance for the answers
