Hello everyone

I'm on the line with the first videos. I have prepared a small assembly studio of a line using for the moment 150 frames. I would like to propose the video before continuing with all the development, but when I genero the rendering.avi lasts just 4 sec.

to increase the duration of the video how can I do it? (excuse the banal application and terminologies).
you can set something in the output stage or I have to scale the frame bar and bring it p.e. 300.

Thank you.

in the settings you can set the number of frames per second. the standard settings should be:
pal 25f/s (Italian standard)
ntsc 30f/s (American standard)

you have about 37... I don't explain why.

putting less than 25 can make the animation go a little bit, but it actually depends on the speed in play.

true the sec. are 5 in ntsc.
so if I understood to increase the duration of the video I must increase the duration of the animation from the time configuration menu. can I also scale all the keys to the positions of the various machinery to adapt them to the new duration?

You can do two things. I don't have 3ds under my hand, so I don't remember the command names.

- reduce the frame number per second. At the most, you're gonna shoot. I think you do it from the settings of the footage, somewhere in the drop-down menus
- steps the keyframes, but at this point increases the number of frames and then the number of renders to be launched, and then the time to render

If you only increase the duration of the animation, without doing nothing else, you should last the movement 5 sec, and then a series of frames all the same that keep the static image until the end of the animation.

I was just trying to "rescalate" along with the duration even the keys of the movements. .according to you there is some command (and I hope so much so) or do I have to answer to key handles?

for the duration of the calculation does not matter for now I leave to work the free pc.

in the time cofiguration menu there is the rescale time, from there increase the total duration of the animation in frames and rescalate everything according to the new number of frames.

the animation will be slower

fantastic... thanks ilario and fulvio.

I put the video back for acceptance and I think they'll all be happy.
the stages of assembly of this machine are several and in more times and I thought to study phase by stage creating various .max files and various movies to then reassemble them (without great claims) with another prog. (type movie maker).
for now I will try to pierce a little ... but I accept suggestions on more 'intelligent' methods.

Hi.

I do that too. I turn the brushes, and then I put them in movie maker which is a great program if you do not have to do great things.
