Hello, everyone. .I am new to the forum so I hope I have not mistaken to post this new discussion in this category. ....

...I pose my problem by hoping that someone can help me... .

...from a few days I have in my hands a dwg file of the weight of about 300mb obtained from the union of clouds of points of a relief made with laser scanner 3d from which to have to pull out prospect plants and sections....but unfortunately the management in autocad... is alqualnto problematica...... so I wanted to know if someone knew to tell me if there is another software or methodology that allows me to streamline the process and get more quickly.

....dispersing to have been clear... Thank you in advance. . !

What kind of object are you treating?
is it not possible to model it "by hanging" at points?

Hello...thank you for the answer. . !

I explain.... the relief and a building.....the file is a dwg 3d dot cloud subform......the problem is that being very heavy to handle the 3d perspective views to retrace the points I need to pull out the 2d drawings to compose the boards is impossible. Because the autocad crashes and goes wrong.... .

There are plug-ins owned by laser scanners (leica, minolta....ecc) to manage and display in the cloud cad!

to work with the clouds of points there are specific sw (as has already been said).
the sw in question allow, for example, to "discompose" the cloud in "blocks" to be displayed more easily without having to have a hardware to renderfarm.
then there are a number of useful tools to rebuild geometries from the cloud of points.
You could theoretically also work in pure autocad... but I see it pretty heavy.
see also, for example:http://www.inovx.com/

...the relief is given to me by the client who necessarily turns it in dwg because it seems he had to work it in the last instance with autocad for a question of alignment of the quotas that otherwise with the sw that managed the native scans did not allow him to do....so I am forced to work on this file of 300mb...... from which I have to get myself prospect plants and sections to compose the classic relief tables is...... "there is a myth to get as easily as possible the 2d on cited.? . "...
..p.s....consider that the various joint scans that make up the dwg file are already grouped into closed blocks. .

excuse the insistence, but basically the plastic was created before the project? and on what basis??? It seems very strange as a procedure

What would you allow me to do? . .
Well, do some research.
work on cloud files, billions of points, but you must know how to manage them!
It seems very strange to me, however, that they are going to work, to people completely fasting of clouds of points! like all "powerful" tools is also very dangerous!
...if you have other questions specifications Ask!
