Hello everyone,
I have a series of files created over time, all are opened by the viewer (me without license ) 16.00c.
However older files (years 2003-2009) cannot be converted with the dxfdwg.exe program present in the installation of 16.
I tried to convert them to iges and then to me,
I tried to compress them/decompress them,
but always a dwg file of length 0 bytes.
How to proceed?

do I have to find executables (dxfdwg.exe ) of the relative versions ( 10 - 16 ) ?
Is there a more hygenic way?

thanks in advance

Hi I think if you only have the viewer you can't do anything if I understand correctly.

In fact the converters do not turn "under license".
in fact of the directory I managed to convert the newest files, those made with the 16, I suppose, my problem is to be able to digest to the convertor even those made with previous versions

I don't know what to say, I don't know. However it seems strange to me that the converter feels the release.

Hi.

Sorry if I hook up with this discussion:
is there a way to automatically convert to dwg a set of files.mi?

try to open a file with a text editor.
if inside you find only strange characters means that your files have been saved in compressed format (Lempel-ziv-walsh algorithm) you have to decompress them......
without having me10 you can use in dos gunzip.exe or in windows 7-zip, look for them on google you will find them immediately are free.
open files with a text editor after decompressing them, if you see only lyrics and numbers the decompression went to good end.
try to translate them but you will probably have a version error, then you will have to find a more dated translator, who once was called dxf.exe and its dxf.con, who gave you the files can give you quietly.

Hi.
You can.
if you open the converter you will see that all even numbers give you the ability to convert using a batch file.
So...
1) put all the files to be converted into the folder where the converter is located.
2) create a text file (example.txt) with within the names of the files you want to convert .
3) launch the converter with command n° 8 :batch translate mi to dwg and enter the name of the file you created complete with suffix (example test.txt).

if you have several files to convert you can use another batch file (text file with .bat extension) that creates the list with inside one thing like this:
cd c:\temp\conversion\
dir /b /a-d > c:\temp\conversion\prova.txt
Hi.

Hello everyone, I join this discussion to understand how the dxfdwg converter works.

question: when is this application performed by annotation saved in "dwg" format? because if I input changes to the configuration file dxfdwg.con does not change the result.

Hello and thank you
