Hello everyone,
I'm a field mole, but I have a problem to solve, so I'd need some tips to figure out what direction to start moving. I started reading about gis material, but the subject is so wide that I struggle to orient myself. could you give me a hand to understand what to study and what programs to use, so as to optimize the working time (unfortunately I don't have much available) to achieve my purpose?
I ask you the problem:
I have the need to create a stand alone application or an application to be inserted in a web page to be displayed offline, showing a map of Italy in 3d within which to move in a mode similar to google earth and properly modified in such a way that to display dynamically in some areas of space, identified by geographical coordinates and altitude, markers or better of the color zones that correspond to a mapping obtained from values stored in a database. Precisely that the application should be used for commercial purposes, so I must be able to get all the licenses of the case.
Where can I leave? what tools can I use?
