Good morning.

I don't have a pdm installation yet and that's why I have a doubt.

I have an axieme formed by a tubular and 2 plates, all these components have their own code and go to form the axieme that also has a code. when I review one of the 3 components at the pdm level what happens to the axieme?

50000/1000/com --> together in bom as if it were a part
- 50001 --> plate dx
- 50002 --> sx plate

now I send in revision the plate dx

50001 --> 50001-a

the axieme becomes:
50000/1000/with --> together in bom as if it were a part
- 50001-a --> dx plate
- 50002 --> sx plate

when I go to save what happens?

pdm/plm take into account the beginning and end dates of the relationships for which saving the revision to save only that and is not touched the assieme (or the assemblies because in the case for example of a commercial that code is probably used in several parts).
Since you load the axieme that contains it of course you are loaded (and reported) the latest version.
Of course, a valid pdm/plm should always allow you to upload the aid to any date. r&d for example will need to see it with the active (revisions) changes while to accurately trace the spare parts maybe it is useful to open it at the delivery date to see exactly how it was sold to the customer and not how it became now with the various improvements.

to today, maybe b is still in processing and is not released so it is not yet "official". it will become at the time of its validation (release).

if you can help, all pdm/plms of mothers' homes, work like this. pdm/plm third parties do not know except a couple but in general should behave like this.

I'm sorry, but I have to solve what should be the last doubt.

do we ask that I have combined a table, if after having released b, say 25/08/20, I try to print the table of a, without ever opening the model and therefore without having fixed any changes, the system warns me?
clearly I must have set that on the design of the previous versions must appear any writing that makes me alert.

If the answer is no, there is a system for this to happen?
