in fact that process has limits, it is enough to consider them in the phase of modeling. However the limits are justified by the little time necessary. with the rhythms we have here in the company I could never use the time necessary to do it with the surfaces, I would make a fool! :
I actually use that method only to realize the final result of laser cutting (in the modeling phase), then the final 3d model I leave it without the thickening, otherwise the laser cam makes the whims.. .
