I am in the situation of having to display (at the level of encumbrance) a group adjacent to one of which I have to make the table.
I need it because I have references to quote.
is there a way not to weigh too much the file by uploading only a "skin" of the second group?
If I put all the second group, with the pack and go it would automatically charge me all the files, and now the second group is not yet definitive (to remove the references). .

What version do you use? if 2010 or 2001 (but also 2009 if you downloaded the shrinkwrap) there is a possibility to create a representation with a simplified contour. that is to create, of a group, the part with only the external encumbrance.

shirikwrap was a downloadable plug from autodesk labs, I don't know if you still find it.
