I have a strange thing today:
I'm working on a file and after a few changes I realized that 3ds crashes when I go to change the background map in the environment options.
apart from importing objects, deleting some, creating groups and assigning some material I did nothing strange.
make it without problems only that I can't change background. on new or old files no problem.
I think it depends on some mistakes in personal libraries but I'm not sure, any ideas?

version: 3ds max design 2011 64bit

If you need I can post the file the only thing is that I will have to rub it off a bit to load it

ps: I can "cut" the background, save and close but still at the opening though there is no set map locks me the same. What a nerve!

of course the problem does not solve by doing new files maintaining objects and hierarchies

product what?
I installed last week the service pack 3 but the product update no.
Anyway it worked perfectly then crashed and generated a recover. I think the problem came up at that point, but I don't remember what caused it.

Anyway, I solved the problem by reopening a previous rescue and doing part of the job. But I would like to understand what he might have created. tomorrow place the damaged file
