equation curve: the notepad refuses to open.

Hi.
My wf2, when defining an equation curved datum, refuses to open the notepad on which I should type the parameters of the equation itself. I came to the point where the dialogue panel tells me:
sist. coord. defined
type siscoo defined
required equation

After that, a black-backed window opens for an instant, closes and everything stays so suspended.
the command line below says: "all elements were not defined. select elements in the dialog box." But if the previous elements are defined while it does not allow me to define the parameters of the equation automatically opening the dialog box, I don't know what to do anymore.
in the browser I open with the info button of the dialogue panel, the local parameters of the curve have a field in which it is written "access :locked" and "designed: no".
Some straight?

probably you have a problem with the Windows editor, but you can add a "pro_editor_command" option that gives you the possibility to specify a different editor from the system (if the system gives you problems or simply does not find it) I use linux as operating system and as system editor uses vim (a little too complex for my tastes) I added the option pro_editor_command and as editor
