hello to all, I am new and I enrolled because I would like to refer to someone more competent than I had with abaqus.
I followed the university a fem course, during which the foundations of abaqus were taught. for the exam I will have to carry the analysis of an object to my choice, work to which the students of the course began to devote already from the first lessons. Considering that it would be interesting, I decided to choose as an object to analyze a fly jumper; below an example.
Specifically, the intention is to carry out a dynamic analysis, pressing a speed to the assembly so as to make it in contact with a second fixed and rigid object deforming it accordingly; below a quick screen of the situation I wanted to create:
after several theoretically solved problems, I am argued with the error that I wrote:
*adjust cannot be used for non-faceted surfaces.none of my two professors of the course have any idea how to solve this problem, recommending me to look for a solution online.
Would someone have an idea of how to help me solve the problem? Thank you in advance for any answers.
p.s.: I am aware that I will most likely have omitted the details needed to diagnose the problem, so I am available for any further details.
