Hello.
advance that I have already used the tool searches and found nothing. I did a more advanced search on google but nothing. I found only the link of another two "disperates", a Canadian and a Chinese
that they had no answer.
basically I am simulating a welding that is characterized by two heat sources so organized:
phase 1) there is only one heat source
phase 2) there are both heat sources spawned on each other 3mm
Now, phase 1 I did it and it's okay.
phase two is quite similar, the only thing that changes is that there are two thermal loads to be assigned, that there are several elements to be selected and that the cycle starts from where phase 1 is finished (obviously)
That's why I first tested the cycle to see that I had done it well. for my verification I went to transform all the selected elements into a material other than that of departure. so doing, I only display the elements of the new material. In short, the cycle works. Therefore, considering that the load is assigned in a similar way to phase 1 and that the cycle works, I went, loaded with hope, to start the analysis.
but when I go to launch the real welding cycle (both by making it queue at stage 1 and by myself) this error appears to me:
"fatal error
element information missing for element 180"
to that pto the only thing I can do and click on "procedes" resulting in closure of ansys.
to say two things:
1) element 180 I do not consider it precisely during the analysis.
2)if I impose a very high heat source, I find the error regarding the fact that the temperature of the knot is too high but at the same time, I do not see the error before.
advice? Unfortunately I do not have the code behind otherwise I would have attached the file.txt
