error in opening a part

Hello everyone! a company sent me a file in .catpart format but when I open it gives me the following errors:

What does it depend on? on another discussion I read that it could depend on the name with which the file was saved. Is that true?

the file name is 52_l001_fondello_inox_printed_scamb_128kw_tauring_con_fori thickness 1.5 mm recreated in catia rev01.catpart

It may be that your cat is not aligned with that of the company, and that the company is + ahead of your wreck .

It seems that this is the problem... so to understand: opening a r20 file with caty r18 and having tree recognition is practically impossible.... but that you know, it is possible to open a r20 with caty r21 and get the tree?

no files created with new releases cannot be opened with old ones.

If you take a r20 file and open it with r21 see everything ................................... you can't.

I found myself in your own situation.
date a type of cat can open files created with the same type and/or an older one.
otherwise you could convert individual files into acis, step or igs and reopen them with the new (seeing that there is no problem).

Thank you all! in fact the file was created with the r20. with the r21 I could open it quietly;-)
