I've been following you for a while.
I am new to this forum and recently I approached using revit for design.

looking for some bim system to be able to calculate the lighting requirements within the premises.

imm1 you will

I did a test on a simplified model. . just some wall to form 3 premises and I added some windows to verify feasibility.

set up here I created a new abacus windows in which I set the display of the premises, and added others that then hid from the abacus but that I served to calculate them as high as the windowed supeficie for each room.. that I formatted by activating "total calcula". A little twisted! !

the next step was to create the field rai given by the window/sup surface formula. Local.

all right here. I thought it was done but...

wishing in some way to speed up the verification I tried to generate a field that specified me if the rei value, previously calculated, satisfied the verification required by law or not...

probably because of my inexperience I failed to set the field generated by calculated value that I called as verification
type yes/no, and set the formula rai>0.125 (0.125 is the minimum 1/8 verification ratio for lighting requirements). .

practically seen the results of the respective designed premises. . only the local 3 meets the verification.... and then.... why does the check box for this show the word no?... see image 1 attached
imm1rai(1)

I also tried, for verification, to lower the value inserted in the verification formula... and until I enter a value less than 0.1 the vefifica field does not change.... see image 2

imm2 you will

Can you help me? ... It's like a calibration... I don't know.

I hope I've explained it satisfactorily. . .

thanks to all

thanks for the prompt response.... it would be good to me if it became red when it did not meet the condition, indeed it would also be a more immediate system... I also tried with conditional formatting. . but nothing......

I just... .

I uploaded the revit file... on depositfiles:

Does it work to you? ?

I forgot... revit 2013 but I don't think much changes I have is a mistake due to the version. . .

jonsil writes "sto looking for some bim system to be able to calculate the lighting requirements within the premises"... and as you see, you are not giving him a useful answer to do so in his revit, but you are telling him to buy an additional software.. "israi." (cut)

You're telling him to buy an additional software.. "israi"
Why didn't you "suggest" him to buy another software by pasting that link?? (cut)
by making a car comparison, I advised him to buy the chains in case of snow. You offered him a 4x4 off-road.

for native:
a link is not a response, better comment on the content not to risk being misunderstood.

for jonsil:
the images placed with external links with time can disappear while we have a nice "managing" button.

for all:
respond to "theme", not to "tone". Thank you!

recapture the image and attach it directly with a new post here on the forum.
Thank you!

it will also be a message that "disturbates" but it bothers me more to see how certain programs are "truly complete" . I use rac long but to see certain demos I ask myself but it is still worth paying sub when using programs to 1/2 ....
no controversy:frown:
Here's the real allplan hair are the renderings, solved what I think...
