error opening file .part

good evening to all, I resumed the use of v5 cat after a couple of years, and I absolutely need to open some files of 2016 including especially the tree, I would be infinitely grateful if you could solve my problem.
I use the v5r21 release and the error that gives me in trying to open .part files is:
- invalid application level
- adversity --> education-- "filename "was created with an education license.I don't remember what happened a few years ago, but apparently I must have used a software for students, and looking here and on the forum and on google, I seem to have realized that unless I have a software for students, I will never open that file, with attached tree... Right? Can anyone give me a solution?? or if I had to share the files, someone would be able to open it and convert it to "commercial", I mean I have an almost desperate need to open these files.
then another question, but you can know with what release was created that file?
because that could also be a problem (I don't say this specific, but I know that many users have this problem), in short, how can I know the release with which that file of catia was created?!? here on the forum I had found a program "which_version" but it does not work.

I don't remember, but I think it might be the r17, but I still think it's less than the r21, that's why I was wondering if at least there is a way to find out which release that file was saved. Is there one? If I can at least find out the version, what would be the solution?

strange that no one has ever tried to take any cad file and open it (without saving it to avoid disasters!!!! ) with any notes pad . at the beginning, you will usually find useful information to trace back to the version. I happen every now and then to have to verify the version, if any supplier is not aligned.

Among other things, with the notepad, you can check files such as iges or step and from which software version come.
or, with files of other cads, check that it is compatible with v5 (because you can also view files of other software in a product, if the release is compatible, only that usually are "old" versions of a few years).
But then, the extension of the catia file is .catpart not .who knows, maybe that was the problem....
