esportare da revit a 3dstudio (layers by materials)

exists the possibility to export the revit file to 3dstudio max, but to have mon objects (layers) divided by how they are but divided by materials?
how to apply materials to those layers easily in revit?

it is not possible to order by material.
if your problem is to keep the mappings of material made in revit, export to fbx
