Good morning to all,

I have a problem in exporting the file from revit to artlantis because there is no compatible format between the two. I also downloaded the plugin from the site of artlantis but it does not work.
revit 2012 > artlantis 3

you could export to dwg from revit and import that to artlantis.
I haven't used those software for a long time so I'm not updated on compatibility issues.
But I invite you to reflect, revit is of the autodesk, which produces software to generate as a showcase (I think similar to artlantis), or 3d studio max design. Obviously autodesk has no interest in facilitating export to different software knows those mentioned.

artlantis is of the abvent, society linked to nemetsheck (allplan) and therefore graphisoft (archicad), major competitors of revit. therefore artlantis works well on the latter.

because the renderings of revit are a crap, from artlantis come out beautiful works. clearly are not of excellent quality, many usant revit+3d studio max but I am not able.

in fact I use archicad+artlantis. The problem is that a colleague has revit, that's why I have this problem. with the dwg I did not try but I do not think it is a format that you carry behind also the materials.

Unfortunately exporting from revit to artlantis is problematic, I'm sorry but I can't give you any more straight.
see if you can make revit straight, but if you, (or your partner) you have to learn the program, it will take a long time.
otherwise see if you find someone who has showcases, that is easy and digests the revit files well.
