Excavator adjustment

Good morning, everyone. I need some advice. I was asked to use an excavator as a crane, then lifting materials. I thought I'd proceed like this: 1)install lifting kit (non-original) as required by current legislation 2)make an established expert who certifies compliance with Legislative Decree 81 3) call the inil for the first verification and use the excavator as a means for lifting. doubts are as follows: 1)Do I have to install an original lifting kit? 2)Do you have to do the re-certification of the means? 3)Does an engineer like me enrolled in the lobby to perform the expertise or do you need a certified body? I would also like to point out that I have had several demands for machines prior to 1996 and later.

turning an excavator into lifting device is a substantial change as the machine's use destination changes.
the lifting device must be marked c (not only the kit, but all set), i.e. the machine must be certified as a lifting device.
you can use the generic or original kits, but you must in any case certify (in theory you can do the kit directly).
It is not a machine falling within the list listed in Annex iv of the Directive, and therefore there is no need to resort to a notified body.

then the crane falls into the list of equipment listed in the annex there to d.lgs.81, then it touches you all the inail/asl/private

What year is the car?
the standard of reference for excavators (en 474-5) provides that they can raise.
So, what do you mean by kit?
A hook?
if (as chicken says) the manufacturer did not preview the lifting, you must rimarcare/mark there the machine.
if the kit exists and is expected you do not need to mark ex novo the car but you must follow the iter of article 71 of Legislative Decree 81/08.

I apologize if I was reconnected from time to time but unfortunately I could not do otherwise. in response to gerod, the machine is 2003 and for lifting kit I mean: anti-duty valves, homologated hook, light or acoustic signal for maximum load overcoming.
