This comes when you click dx on the table and save table.
I also behave exactly as you see in your video above.
I didn't realize it because I use another system.
Anyway the thing I think you solve it by "modifying the table in a new window" this is opened in excel and here you save it by name, which I don't have problems, give the name you like.
at this point close the table and return to solidworks.
go to the table button dx change function and connect to the saved file first and everything should work.
