Hello everyone I am new to this community, and I would like to ask you two problems that do not allow me to go ahead with my work!

1. I would like to know if you can export a file from rhino to 3d studio keeping the layers created in rhino!

2. if 3d study can render lines! I'll explain better, I should make a model of a city, and I'd like the level curves only on the ground.
Thanks g.

hi, for importing with layers there are two roads, a free (but with more chances of errors on complex geometries) and a fee (not without possibility of errors, but with less probability I believe).
one is export in dwg format taking care to set the options for recognition of mesh from rhino and then importing the dwg to max.
the other is the purchase of a npowertools software called powertranslator that directly imports 3dm with its beautiful layers.

For lines, I don't know what level curves are if you place an image the things you want more or less, I see if I can help you.

thanks ilario, I will try to get the program! for level curves I have already solved by projecting a texture on the floor that represents the soil
