Hello everyone, I am new to this beautiful forum! :finger:

Now at work I have to realize iron fil assonometers (type illustration) from some solid works files 2008 sp3. being neophyte of the program but I don't know how to use it...

in practice I have to export various views to fl of vector iron such as those of the main display window

I tried therefore to export in various formats like pdf, tif, jpg but they are all very low quality on 50 dpi and pdf is not even vector but raster:mad:

I believe that there is some option or system to get a vector design of the view because I happened in hand some pdf of another company and are made in vectors on pdf

-How can I do to get a perspective or iron-fil assonometry with vector contours?
or at least high quality raster to be able to recarlcate them in illustrator?

- Maybe you need a rendering engine that makes vector contours?

thank you so much to those who will help me

first you must start from drawing and if you print it in pdf ... the result is for vector things.
otherwise export it to dxf.
illustrator opens and edits both pdf and dxf.

as suggested by maxopus you have to move from drawing, that is to make the table.
2d boards can save them in dwg, dxf (see that you have autocad) and pdf, as well as various other formats; by saving the file type you need from the drop-down menu below the window.
in the table positions an isometric view or the view "current" by placing the model 3d as more you cling. if you want to see all edges in wirewframe as display status choose lattice structure (from the property manager). then save by name as mentioned before and you will have your file exported in acad or pdf format in normal vector quality.
eye that the rescue will be "sized" according to the scale you had in the swx table, so if for acad you need 1:1 you will have to scale it with the normal autocad command.

thanks guys is just what I need:wink:

Unfortunately being at the first "arms" with solidworks could you give me 2 straights on how to set the drawing board and place my object in assonometry or perspective?

I feel a bit difficult... but I don't have the need for precision in size just that I expose all the object or my view in the table

Thank you very much!!!:finger:

begins to make the quick and simple step-by-step tutorials present in the program and consult the online guide, it is all explained.. These are the basics.

It is not a matter of "precision", the dimensions are those that you have given to the model and such and which will be exported (except complications ).

greetings
Marco:smile:
