hi guys! I have to export a 3d performed with 3d max studio in autocad 2010 (to get prospectives and sections) and I noticed sadly that on autocad 2010 (it actually seems already since 2008) the command "export" in the format "3ds".

help me....how do I have to proceed? ? ?

Do you have to export from 3ds and worry about 3dsout by autocad?? So, either I'm not coming to see us the hour or you have some confusing ideas.. .

confused export with import.
the command is (if I remember well) 3dsin, in autocad.
At least I understood it like this:)

just export the file to dwg and it's done. Then changing view revenues what you need, in autocad there is also a comanndo that you "start" the 3d in a 2d, so you have a part of the prospectus, at that point you delete the lines more'ciao

you simply need to import into the dwg format. Obviously when it amounts pays attention to curved objects otherwise you risk having for example a segmented composite arc or with too many faces.www.lbrenderingevia.com:smile:
