external certification for cutting machine

Hi.
in my company came a conveyor belt where on the final there is a rotating system with blades that cut the product passing ... a kind of cylinder with above fixed blades. I have looked at the machine regulations and in my opinion it falls within the type of machines of the Annex iv (1.3 saws to blade ...) and that for these, to emit the ce, there must also be a certification from an external company .... Can you give me some advice?

Well, if you look well at point 1, it's about wood or similar materials.
you should see that material cuts and if loading/unloading is manual.
the company third is called notified organism but:
- the manufacturer can follow the procedures of all. viii if there is a technical standard c and this rule is followed in all the points applicable;
- the company follows all. x
if one of the two points is not possible then you go to type examination.
